I still don't know how I feel about the latest Fall trend--oxford shoe boots. I keeping hearing about how to wear them, but I'm not completely sold. I haven't bought a pair yet cause, it's still a scorcher in LA. I can't think pass my flip flops or wedges right now. I do think some of them are really stylish and completely wearable like the brown with the tassels (top right). I can totally see my divaness wearing these with skinny jeans, leggings, or maybe with tights and a mini-dress. However, the manish oxfords (on the left) reminds me of the early 1900's, like right before they discovered heels. It was just a really bad time period for fashion and I don't like to be reminded of those dark times. I've seen some stylistas donning oxford shoe boots, specifically the divas 5'4 and above, and it actually looks pretty good. I would probably buy a pair like the one below with cut outs. It's rocker glam and would add a dose of sex appeal to my nights out on the town. I just don't know if I can fully commit. Afterall, it is a trend that will inevitably come to an end. Not to mention, most of them start at $100 bucks! I think I'll peruse Target or Forever 21 to see if I can score a pair for the low low price of $22.99. My fellow fashionistas how do you feel about oxford shoe boots? Would you add them to your fall collections or leave them at the store?
