If you wana rock around the Christmas tree in style for the holidays, get a saucy black sequin skirt. It's the ultimate in yuletide glamour. It adds just the right amount of sassiness without looking like a disco ball. A sequin skirt also looks fab in red or gold. I usually wear either mini or knee length, nothing longer unless you've got an invite to the Oscars. Mine is always lost in the mail. I throw on a fitted top with my sequin skirt and you can't tell me I'm not a star. The thing to remember when wearing sequins is it can easily add volume to your frame. So you don't wanna add a lot of big jackets or voluminous tops. Throw on a fitted velvet jacket or a simple silk top. A sequin skirt is one of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe. You can wear it with heels, boots, or even nice flats. I love it with a round toe patent leather 3 1/2 heel. My style twin rocks hers with flat boots, a V-neck white tee, and a long cardigan. Tres' chic indeed. Keep it simple for holiday festivities to avoid the dreaded black bar across your eyes with the stamp "Fashion Don't"! I can't wait for all the holiday parties that will most likely cause my hands to tremble with a razor to my wrist, but I'll look gorgeous in my chic sequin skirt.
